Miracles happen when you listen to your heart
Miracles happen in the most unlikely places.
I was so sad that my dog wasn’t able to handle the apartment. I never expected it, and sent her to live with my dad.
And then I realized that my intention was never to live alone. I wanted to live with my fiance and his kids, but unfortunately that didn’t work. So I have decided to move back in with my dad and son, and my dog!
But the miracle is the kindness and forgiveness I have been given by my dad and son. They were angry, and likely hurt, when I decided to move out in June. But they’ve been nothing but supportive even though they didn’t want me to leave.
And when I realized it made the most sense to move back, they were nothing but welcoming.
I needed to do these moves. Despite the fact that some of it didn’t work out, I have learned where I want to be, and why.
And I have also learned that I felt limited by place at one point in my life, but now I realize that was all in my head. My limitations were not geographical, but emotional.
I felt stuck.
But I don’t feel stuck anymore. In fact quite the contrary. I feel amazingly positive and free and happy.
I have learned from all this that you just never know how your decisions are going to affect your life, but if your heart tells you to try something go for it.
People who love you will always support you and welcome you back.
And the people who don’t will fall away.
That’s the miracle.
